With the support of the EU, Sweden and Austria, within the framework of the GRETA project, the online video on "Gender Equality and Women's Rights for Building a Just and Inclusive Society" was developed with the co-funding of the European Union, Sweden, and Austria. The primary purpose of the course is to foster the understanding of complex issues concerning women's rights and gender equality, as well as the protection of gender equality in society and business sphere.

Gender inequality has a complex history. According to feminist experts, patriarchy is the primary cause of gender inequality.

Patriarchy is a system in which men hold primary power and superiority over women in civil, political, religious, legal, and economic domains. This system further extends to dominant social and cultural influence and status.

Answering the following questions can help determine how prevalent the gender inequality is in our culture:

• Who represent the majority of the country's leaders?
• Primarily, who performs the household chores?
• In general, who owns the land resources and real estate?
• Are men and women treated equally under the law?
• Do girls and boys have equal access to general and higher education? etc.
