Visitors will have the opportunity to hear firsthand accounts from both direct and indirect beneficiaries of the project. This diverse group includes small entrepreneurs, tour operators, farmers, associations, educational institutions, and representatives of the public sector. The list of beneficiaries and the project's accomplishments are extensive and intriguing. Additionally, participants will be informed about the role, significance, and development potential of Georgia's high mountain regions, along with the ongoing work in these areas:
- Leading: Discover the policy support that has catalyzed the advancement of Georgia's organic agriculture and sustainable mountain tourism sectors, moving them into a new era of development.
- Supporting: Listen to the narratives of successful small and medium-sized businesses from Georgia's mountainous regions, which have flourished with the support of the mentioned donors. These entrepreneurs will share their stories of business development and the commercial opportunities they've explored.
- Developing: Gain an understanding of our collective growth journey, the invaluable knowledge we've acquired through training and capacity-building sessions, its practical implementation, and the ambitious future goals we've set.
The choice of Mestia as the event location is significant and deliberate. Over the course of this continuous four-year journey, a regional brand was established for the first time in Georgia: Svaneti. This region is a source of national pride, representing one of the most emblematic areas in the country, with a long-term plan for tourism development and destination management.
We look forward to celebrating these and other important milestones achieved through collaborative efforts, empowering many individuals to share their potential and the region's prospects with others.
